In the last few years, AIMS strategic planning process led us to the Morgantown, WV area. The town has a premier health system in WVU Medicine and one of the State’s  largest Universities in West Virginia University. Both are committed to robust construction programs to improve their campuses.

Given AIMS expertise in healthcare and lab construction, and the proximity to our Southwestern Pennsylvania marketplace, it was a natural fit to enter this area.

In 2020, AIMS completed all the required certification paperwork and are now licensed in the State of West Virginia.

Mike Tarle, AIMS Market Leader, said “ We are excited to pursue work in the Morgantown, West Virginia marketplace. WVU and WVU Medicine are typical clients for AIMS given their robust building programs in healthcare, lab, and life sciences. We can’t wait to share our expertise with them.”

We are happy to announce that our UPMC Mercy Neuro IR Project was a finalist for the 2020 MBA Building Excellence Awards for the category of Renovations under 5 Million. This $2M, 3,200 SF renovation took place from January - June 2020. The work included remodeling existing radiology offices, conference room, control room, and systems components room, as well as a future MRI room shell space. We feel that this complex, fast track project, during a pandemic, really highlights the strengths of MBA contractors. Thank you to the MBA for the honor to participate!
